Our client, a leading global insurer in the property & casualty space, is recruiting a Claims Data Analyst on a contractor basis (outside IR35).

Their claims team are having some data quality issues in their claims reporting system, and as a result are rebuilding those reports and making alterations to their claims data warehouse. They require a Claims Data Analyst to take that work to the next stage, act as the intermediary between technology and business teams to understand claims data issues, and then look at what quantifiable claims data should look like in the business. The incoming contractor will also be translating the data to tell the business what it means from a policy perspective, and ensure data sets are proofed in terms of claims reporting.

Experience required:

  • Good understanding of claims teams/cycles, preferably in the P&C/specialty insurance space
  • Good data extraction and reporting/data visualisation skills (ideally Power BI and /or Cognos experience)
  • Good communication skills and business analysis skills
