Claims Adjuster
The Opportunity
We are currently on the lookout for Claims Adjusters to join a global business in their London office on a hybrid basis. Our client has a team of around 25 adjusters and are looking to expand this department following continued success and their increasing client portfolio.
The UK Claims Delegated Lead team provides a London based claims service. The scope of the service includes multiple classes of business comprising of both standard and complex claims.
We are particularly interested in speaking to individuals who have Multi Class, Reinsurance or Aviation adjusting experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Managing and adjusting claims from first notification to settlement within pre-authorised authority limits
• Claims adjusting on behalf of current and future UK Claims Management clients
• Provision of technical support for the adjusting of various COB claims
• Ensuring each client’s claim service standards are maintained or enhanced
• Managing and enhancing client relationships
• Monitoring performance against contract SLAs and KPIs
• Delivering and presenting reports to clients on specific claims issues
• Mentoring and training less experienced members of the team
• Post adjustment peer review to ensure technical standards and requirements are adhered to
• Appointing experts and legal counsel where deemed appropriate
Required Skills
• Minimum 2 years London Market experience adjusting claims
• Proven track record of adjusting a combination of Property, Casualty, Marine & Aviation XOL classes of business
• Proven experience in respect of the London Market process including Broker CLASS @ Lloyd’s and ECF Systems
• Widespread relationships with brokers / adjusters / lawyers / attorneys as appropriate in the relevant class of business
• Able to work across multiple stringent client SLAs
• Display excellent inter-personal and communication skills in order to interact well within team and with clients and brokers
• Able to prioritise work, have good time management skills and able to adapt to the changing demands of the role
