Civils Technician - required for your client based in Norwich. The ideal Civil Technician would have 3 years post Graduate experience and be interested in working on projects up to £76m but predominantly projects in the £10m - £20m range. The Civil Engineer will be interested in working on Capital Works, Residential, Hospital and University projects. The Civil Technician will be supported with ongoing professional development training through regular personal development days and an inhouse programmes.

Civils Technician Position Overview

  • Experience with S38, S278, S104
  • Experience in Flood Risk Assessments, Hydrology, Flood Modelling
  • Experience of MicroDrainage, AutoCad, Civils3D / PDS etc
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • A proactive approach to challenges and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

  • Site appraisal and feasibility assessment
  • Highways design - local authority and private residential / commercial (S.38 / 184 / 278)
  • Utility assessment and impact negotiation (C3 & C4)
  • CDM risk and mitigation assessment
  • Flood Risk Assessments
  • Construction Environmental Management Plans
  • SuDS Maintenance Plans
  • Flood Compensation Assessments
  • Attend Design meetings
