Are you looking to work with children? Then don’t miss out this exciting opportunity to work with children and care proceeding services as a Childrens Social Worker for Cambridgeshire's Children in Care Team.

The pay rate would be up to £41 per hour and the role is based in Cambridgeshire. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with children of all ages that are in care, carry a caseload and progress care plans for them.
  • They may be finding adoptive placements for them, or supporting long term fostering plans.
  • There will also be some complex young people in residential care, and a group that we are supporting to return home to family members.
  • Workers will need to have excellent skills in direct work with children and young people, and be committed to robust and timely permanence planning for all these children

As an ideal candidate, you will need to have:

  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Minimum 2 plus years of experience in working with children and related services.
  • Access to vehicle and UK Driving License
