Are you looking to make a difference in children’s lives? Do you have social work experience of working within children's services? We are looking for a Children's Duty and Assessment Social Worker to join the Team in Northamptonshire Children's Trust.

This role will pay up to £38 per hour and is based in Northamptonshire.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • The team operates on a 6-week duty cycle, with candidates needing to be in office for a FULL week during their duty week, and to be local during visit time.
  • Caseloads are capped off at 35, with cases currently sitting at around 25-30.
  • Single point of contact for all incoming safeguarding concerns relating to young people within the catchment area.
  • Reports will initially come into the MASH service, and then be passed on to DAAT.

As the ideal candidate, you will:

  • Be a Qualified Social Worker
  • Social Work England Registered
  • Has 2 year post qualifying experience
  • Able to drive car and hold a UK Driving License.
