Childrens Social Worker - MASH First Response Team

Our Client, Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their MASH Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Contribute to the formulation of the Service Plan and prioritize team objectives.
• Participate in regular supervision and reflective practice consultations.
• Ensure all work aligns with legislative requirements and corporate priorities.
• Strive for best practice standards and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and notify management of any risks concerning child safety or wellbeing.
• Respond to user needs, questions, and complaints, cooperating with investigations.
• Consult with management on budget and resource matters.
• Adhere to diversity and health and safety policies.
• Comply with IT requirements regarding data security and information management.
• Participate in team meetings, activities, and initiatives.

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 2 years’ post qualified experience.
