Interested candidates must be able to travel to this location easily, without having to relocate first.

THE ROLE

  • Must have a good working knowledge and an understanding of childcare legislation and safeguarding requirement.
  • Must have worked with children, young people and or families in a social care type environment before
  • Must have experience in dealing with the practice of community working, including influencing involvement.

IN THIS ROLE, you will be working as a Senior Childrens Service type Coordinator.

You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of professional social care staff as well as providing admin help, support and assistance to a Manager (acting as a Deputy Manager) dealing with general coordinator and admin type duties and responsibilities including data collection and analysis work.

Involved in chairing, supporting and contributing to planning meetings.

Producing clear and concise written reports, capturing and progressing action points.

Must be a confident user of Word, Excel and Outlook.
