Children's Residential Team Leader

  • Salary: £33,893 based on 40 hours a week plus £60 sleep-in shift payment

About the Role:

As a Team Leader at our Children’s home in Staines, you will ensure a high standard of care and support is available to each child when on duty, meeting the requirements of current legislation and inspecting regulatory bodies. You will actively participate in the induction, supervision, training, and appraisal of care staff, ensuring safe practices and meeting medical needs. Additionally, you may provide cover for the role of Deputy Homes Manager under the direction of the Management team.

About You:

We seek candidates with experience in a children’s home setting, passionate about supporting young people, and holding a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. If you share our commitment to developing confident and capable young people, we encourage you to apply.

Millstream Lodge, part of our organization, is an independent children’s home in Manningtree, catering to children and young people aged between 9 and 17 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. We provide a nurturing home led by highly-experienced managers and a strong, vibrant team.
