Children's Residential Support Worker (CRSW) - Cheshire
Prospero are currently recruiting experienced Children's Residential Support Workers who are looking for flexible shifts which work around your lifestyle, based within Cheshire and the surrounding areas.
As a Support Worker you will provide support for the children and young people within a residential environment, providing essential care and maintaining a safe environment. You will be responsible for:
- Actively engaging with the young people with their interests and aspirations
- Engaging, communicating and listening to the children and their needs
- Promoting healthy routines for daily living (meals, bedtimes, social)
- Documenting all observations with accuracy
- Supporting the young person to manage and regulate their emotions
- Maintaining professional boundaries
To be a successful Children's Residential Support Worker you should have:
- Minimum of six months experience working within a similar setting
- Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be a resilient and friendly individual
- Proficiency at building strong professional relationships
- Holder of the Right to Work in the UK
- Driver's licence (desirable)
- Ability to complete our compliance requirements (includes DBS, References, Training)
- Level 3 Children & Young People (desirable)
