Halcyon HSC are working exclusively with an independently run care provider that specialises in support for children and young adults with mental health issues including social, and emotional behavioural disorders.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Children’s Deputy Manager to drive the business forward into its next phase of growth.

Our client is due to open a new service that will house two children with histories of complex trauma and placement instability, including disrupted educational / psychosocial development.

We are now recruiting for an experienced Children’s Deputy Manager 35K per annum depending on experience.

What we are looking for in a Children’s Deputy Manager:

A minimum of two years as a Registered Manager of a Children's Residential Home and be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully achieving a good CQC rating and taking an active leadership role.

Can confidently manage a service from a compliance and operational standpoint, as well as working with referrers and managing tenders and frameworks.

Work in partnership with individuals to create bespoke support packages.

Equivalent Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Services following the Adult Services or Adult Residential Services pathway. 

Please note that it is essential to have access to transport for this role as the position involves occasionally travelling to various locations to take young people to appointments, training school etc.
