Job Title: Children Support Worker
Location: Ely

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs? Do you have a heart for supporting young boys in their educational and personal development journey? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Children Support Worker at our All Boys Special Needs School in Ely.

About School: Boys from 5-16 years who have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) for social, emotional and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to children with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
- Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students.
- Support students with personal care and hygiene tasks, promoting independence and dignity.
- Implement behavior management strategies in collaboration with teaching staff to support positive behavior.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive and cohesive school community.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior, adhering to school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- Right To Work in the UK (No Sponsorship provided)(Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience to support children with diverse needs and challenges.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development as required.
