Hiring Children Support Worker for a Special Needs School

Start: 15th April 2024

Salary: £12.80/hr

Timing: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Type: Full Time (Term Time Only) (Part-Time not available)

School: Providing education over two sites for children with Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties aged 3-19 years

Job Role:

• Supporting pupils on either a 1-2-1 or small group basis
• Promoting progress in student's social and emotional well-being
• Assisting with off-site activities / school trips
• Motivate and encourage students as required
• Highly rewarding position where you can have a direct impact on a student's life

Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK (No Sponsorship provided) (Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible)
  • Enhanced DBS - Child and Adult Workforce
  • Able to Manage Behaviour among students with Challenging Behaviour and Complex Needs
  • Minimum 3 months of work experince in the UK
  • Candidate with experience as a Support Worker / Carer / SEN TA / Sports Coach / Prison Officers will be ideal
