Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children in residential homes with disabilities? Do you hold a level 3 or higher and looking for a new challenge? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Reed is proud to be working in conjunction with one of the leading companies in children residential services across the Northwest and looking to expand their team in Liverpool that supports children with various social and physical disabilities. You will work in close conjunction with the home team and other professionals to ensure that the child/young person is at the centre of everything, and all their needs are met.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

- Help the children to develop their independence, life skills, and confidence

- Support the children with their personal care, health, and hygiene needs

- Plan and participate in a range of activities that are fun, stimulating, and tailored to the children's interests and abilities

- Promote the children's rights, dignity, and safety at all times

- Work as part of a team to provide a consistent and positive environment for the children

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent or higher!

- A minimum of 3 months Experience of working with children with disabilities or special educational needs

- A positive, caring, and resilient attitude

- A commitment to ongoing learning and development

- Ability to commit to twelve shifts day/night are both available 

-Experience of working in an outstanding service is preferred

- A salary starting at £12 per hour raising within the first year. With the additional increase for passing probation, length of service and additional qualifications
