Are you an experienced deputy manager of children's residential services? Are you looking for a rewarding new challenge? Then we have the opportunity for you!



Reed is proud to be working in partnership with children and young people residential services based in the heart of south Liverpool. The service is seeking a passionate and dedicated deputy manager to join their team. As the deputy manager, you will work closely with the registered manager to ensure the smooth running of the home.



You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the well-being of all stakeholders within the service

• To support the children and young people in the home to achieve their personal goals and are fully supported. To support the team in planning an enriching environment for the residents including external visits.

• Stepping up for the registered manager in their absence and being part of an on-call rota

• Co-manging the house budget and ensuring compliance of the home is maintained with relevant policies and procedures. Ensuring the safeguarding of all in the home and working in a multi-agency.

• Oversee the development of the staff team through supervision, training, and appraisals



To be successful in this role, you will need:

• To hold a level 3 or higher in a relevant CYPW and preferably level 5 leadership and management

• A minimum of 2 years experience in leadership in children and young people residential services

• A UK driver's licence and access to own vehicle



In return, we offer:

• A base salary of £32k to £35k p.a

• Monday to Friday 9 to 5 with occasional support for the team
