Are you the kind of person that would like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with Autism, Learning Disabilities or Physical Disabilities? If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a term time only Child Support Worker to work with children aged between 3-19 years old on a full-time basis. Your role would be based in a Special School in Leeds that caters specifically for children with Autism and Learning Disabilities. This is a Monday - Friday role and would require you to work 08.30 - 15.30. As a Child Support Worker at this school, you would be expected to support the children with learning, managing behaviour in the classroom, assisting with feeding and personal care if required and adhering to all school policies.

Your role & responsibilities:

· Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons

· Helping the pupils regulate

· Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive

· Assist with personal care

Non-negotiables:

· Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism.

· Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30

· Comfortable providing personal care

· Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
