Child Law Solicitor
Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Child Law Solicitor to join a busy team based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This is a full time, permanent job with the opportunity to join a friendly and progressive firm. Role ResponsibilitiesThe incoming Child Law Solicitor will deal with a range of Family & Care matters including cases for parents, children or for other relatives where concerns of child protection or abuse are raised.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Building and managing a caseload with supervision.
- Preparing your clients’ cases from initial instruction all the way through to conclusion of the case.
- Representing your clients at court on hearings.
- Being prepared to network and build new business.
The successful Child Law Solicitor will have the following skills, attributes and experience:
- 1-3 Years PQE.
- A Child Law Solicitor ready to hit the ground running.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a passion for publicly funded work.
- Have an understanding of legal aid.
- Competent and willing to undertake your own advocacy.
- Working towards panel accreditation.
