Chief Operating Officer - Engineering/Supply Chain/International

I’m supporting a global manufacturing business as they progress through a period of expansion. Supporting the CEO, this COO role is new to the organisation and will be responsible for the operational strategy of the business, supporting revenue and overarching business growth. Managing a global team, you will be responsible for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering & Design and Quality (6 VPs/Directors in total). Strong commercial experience of managing these functions, globally, in an industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering environment, will be essential. The business is continuously striving to innovate, and the support and knowledge of new product development and implementation will be a key part of this role. You will have strong experience of driving business growth, with solid exposure to structure change and new operating model creation being important. Evidence of scaling a business from c£40m to £100m+ would ensure that you stood out. This is a key hire, for an ambitious business, and so the individual will need to embody the culture and values of the business. Global travel will be expected across APAC and Americas.

The office is based in an ideal location from the motorway network. This will be an office based role and require someone based in the North West of the UK. The salary will be £140-165k on a base, plus bonus and wider incentives.
