We’re also here to make this whole energy thing way easier for our customers. Like, really easy. That means providing exceptional service and using state-of-the-art tech to do it.

Embark on a transformative journey as Chief of Staff - Risk & Governance Analyst at E.ON Next, reporting into the Risk & Controls Manager.

We're seeking a proactive and inquisitive individual to join our team, specialising in coordinating, collating and testing risk and controls across E.ON Next. Your role will be pivotal in integrating new business areas including Installations, Solutions and Smart into our family, ensuring clear risk understanding and effective control implementation.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

  • Engage with stakeholders to monitor key risks and controls, identifying gaps and dependencies and crafting effective mitigation strategies

  • Drive data protection efforts, handling Subject Access Requests, Information Commissioner's Office complaints and DP incidents including tracking DP performance and themes for action

  • Conduct necessary assurance activities and facilitate audits to maintain compliance standards

  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for stakeholders on key risks and controls, action plans and performance indicators showcasing successes, challenges and areas for improvement

  • Challenge stakeholders to ensure compliance, offering recommendations for enhancement of compliance where necessary

  • Crafting stakeholder communications and steering committee materials, contributing to decision-making processes

  • Provide recommendations on best practices and risks based on robust internal and external analysis

Are we the perfect match?

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Passion to drive effective control management and cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement

  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, proficient in prioritising competing demands efficiently

  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing demands

  • Willingness to challenge conventional practices and propose enhancements to work processes for potential improvements

It would be great if you had:

  • Customer-centric mindset, prioritising customer success as the primary mission

  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, balancing attention to detail with a holistic understanding of the broader context

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity with confidence and agility

  • Ability to work across multiple systems

Here’s what else you need to know:

  • Closing date - Friday 19th April 2024

  • We have one 12-month secondment, and one permanent position available - internal applicants only

  • Competitive salary

  • Location - Nottingham with travel to our other sites when required

  • Working environment: Flexible hybrid working - a blend of in the office and home working

  • The chance to choose from our award-winning Flexible Benefits package

  • We have exciting opportunities for everyone to develop their talent at E.ON Next. Our open access, inclusive talent networks provide networking, learning and development for all, building your skills, qualifications and capabilities throughout your career
