Chemistry Teacher

We are seeking a Chemistry Teacher with a passion for teaching and a proven track record of exceptional teaching and commitment to student achievement. Join our dynamic team at a selective secondary school, 

Day to day of the role:
  • Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across all Key Stages, ensuring student engagement and understanding.
  • Contribute to the department’s aim of maintaining the highest standards of student achievement.
  • Offer a variety of extra-curricular activities to engage and inspire students, including clubs, visits, and enrichment classes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver innovative teaching methods and share best practices.
  • Effectively use technology to enhance learning within the subject area.
  • Provide additional support to students to foster independent learning both within and outside the classroom.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Chemistry.
  • Ability to teach Chemistry at A Level.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • A collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to fostering independent learning among students.
  • Willingness to extend and develop personal knowledge and teaching practice.
