Our client is seeking a skilled Chemical Finishing Supervisor to oversee our chemical and finishing processes in Birmingham, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Your role will encompass managing chemical inventory, ensuring proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials, and training staff on safety and environmental protocols.

Additionally, you'll conduct quality control tests to maintain standards. This entails meticulous oversight of chemical handling and storage, supervision of teams, and proactive management of safety concerns. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving potential safety issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exceptional organisational abilities to manage complex tasks effectively.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the chemical industry.
  • Proficient in chemical and metal finishing production processes.
  • Familiarity with safety and hazard regulations governing industrial environments.
  • Capable of devising and executing process improvement strategies.
  • Comfortable with IT tools and software for data management and analysis.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for chemical handling
