FJA are working with an established Engineering Maintenance Company based in the Bury area who are looking to recruit Chemical Cleaning Operatives.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that who are going through a period of growth.
 
As a Chemical Cleaning Operative, you will be a part of many projects within the UK but will be working independently within the clients Bury branch to complete these projects.
 
The role will be working Monday to Friday.
 
What you’ll be doing as a Chemical Cleaning Operative:
  • Within this role you will be asked to chemically surface treat various metal parts while adhering to Health & Safety
  • Discussing the work assignments with the Production Manager on the planning and work order forms
  • Unloading of delivered parts by forklift and/or overhead crane (Training can be provided if required)
  • Weighing and labelling of the unloaded parts to ensure full traceability from start to finish
  • Working independently according to schedule when required or within part of the team
  • Performing incoming and outgoing quality checks of the supplied parts
  • Reporting deviations or quality issues and details of delivered and processed parts to the Production Supervisor.
 
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Required)
  • Fork Lift Licence (Advantageous)
  • Overhead Gantry Crane Trained (Advantageous)
  • First Aid Trained (Advantageous)
