Tezlom are recruiting for compassionate chef staff to work within specialist Nursing Homes and care homes in many areas in London.

We Require:

Proof of Right to Work in the UK

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Hospitality/Catering/Practical Cookery

Level 2 HACCP training certificate

Due to the continued expansion, we are looking for chefs to join our growing team. Following the continued success and increased demand, we are looking to recruit experienced, dedicated individuals to join the expanding team. As a Chef, you'll be joining an outstanding team in menu creation, ensuring the kitchen and equipment meets all health and safety requirements and produce fresh cooked meals daily to residents with special dietary and nutrition needs.

Duties within this position include:

  • Setting up the kitchen and maintaining standards of hygiene, presentation, and efficiency.
  • Expertise in English cuisine
  • Cooking food in a timely manner and ensuring excellent presentation.
  • Develop nutritious and diet sensitive meals, according to dietary needs and allergen requirement.
  • Monitor food and stock checks, costs, ordering.
  • Experiment with food and recipe ideas, creations of new menus and daily specials.
  • Ensure compliance with both Food Safety and Health and Safety in the kitchen
