8153 - Chef de Partie

Location: Reigate

Hours: 40hrs

Shift pattern: Rota basis 5/7 days (weekends required)

Salary: Dependent on experience (up to £26,000)

Our client a beautiful pub which is located in the Reigate countryside in Surrey and nestled in the North Downs, is actively looking to recruit a Chef de Partie who will be working with the Head Chef will help to assist and cover kitchen duties to ensure the successful running of the kitchen.

As a Chef de Partie you will prepare, cook and serve the restaurant menu’s hot and cold food and offerings, maintain all food hygiene standards whilst ensuring all the work and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.

The successful candidate will have a history of working in a professional catering environment; will have robust knowledge and skills in preparing "fresh" and "timely" delivered food. Your principal duties will extend to: -

  • Preparing and cooking menu items as directed by the Sous / Head Chef.
  • Assisting in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends,
  • Carrying out the smooth and efficient running of your section
  • Actively help maintain compliance with current Dietary, Food Safety and EHO Standards
  • Being passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts
  • Assisting with stock taking when required.
  • Assist with the other Kitchen duties on an as needs basis

Working around 40hours/week, with 5 over 7-day cover the successful
