Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Chef De Partie to work for a busy and popular hospitality establishment based in Thetford.

Your role as a Chef De Partie will involve:

  • Reporting to the Head Chef
  • Ensuring that you are productive and fully occupied at all times by making sure that all food is served quickly and to the highest standard
  • Health & Safety & Food Safety is adhered to
  • Measurements/portions are accurate and recipes are followed correctly
  • All equipment is used correctly
  • Job lists provided are completed.

You will support the team by undertaking any tasks, training and development requested by the Head Chef and helping to supervise the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.

A Food Hygiene certificate and Chef experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, have experience in working in a pressured environment and be able to work flexible shifts.

This is a permanent role.

Hours will be 40 hours a week with alternate weekends - no late evenings required.

Hourly rate will be £13.12 per hour.
