Role: Change and Problem Management Specialist
Location: Braine l 'Alleud (20km from Brussels)
Duration: May 6th - December 2024 + extension possible
Rate: €500 to €575 Euros per day
Client: Government
Clearance Required: Secret NATO
Languages Needed: English and French (Elementary level)
Experience:
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and framework.
- Familiarity with, at least one Problem Management methodology (Kepner-Tregoe, Five Why's, Fishbone or other. Any certification in this field will be a plus).
- Exposure to release management processes.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation.
Change Management Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with cross functional teams, to authorize and oversee changes
- Verify change requests, ensuring they align with business objectives and minimize risks. Monitor the impact of changes and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain a robust change management process,
- Facilitate change advisory board (CAB) meetings and ensure timely approvals
Problem Management Responsibilities:
- Investigate recurring incidents and identify underlying root causes.
- Collaborate with technical teams in order to assure permanent solutions are implemented. Maintain a problem knowledge base for reference and continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify potential problems and work towards preventive measures
Release Management:
- Assist in coordinating software releases, updates, and patches.
- Monitor release schedules and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Participate in post-release evaluations
