CCTV Operator/ ASB Officer Vacancy waiting to be filled

Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Association and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:          CCTV Operator/ ASB Officer

Location:         Stockport    

Length:           4 weeks with chance of extension  

Rate:               Negotiable depending on experience  

Hours:             36 hours p/week on average – 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am, can

include weekends

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Working collaboratively with customers, the team and colleagues from other services
  • Reacting to live incidents
  • Providing daily 24/7/365 monitoring of the public space and housing stock CCTV along with responding to fire alarm activations plus providing security for customers
  • Supporting Neighbourhoods and Safer Neighbourhoods services, working pro-actively as one team to keep tenants safe and secure
  • Proactively identifying criminality and ASB across the Borough
  • Monitoring CCTV for customers in blocks across the Borough 
  • Responding to fire alarm activations
  • Assisting GMP and the Safer Neighbourhoods Team with evidence led investigations 
  • Spotting suspicious behaviours and actively monitoring situations, relaying key information to the necessary agency

It is essential the successful candidate must have a SIA Licence or Police Vetting and be able to start into the position from next week
