Role: CCTV Drainage Engineer

Location: North of London

Salary: 30,000-37,000 dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time with overtime as needed

Role

  • Conduct comprehensive CCTV drainage condition surveys using both push rod and crawler unit systems.
  • Evaluate and analyse drainage system conditions, identifying blockages and structural defects.
  • Generate detailed reports using viewline industry software and provide remedial recommendations for required repairs and maintenance.
  • Create detailed site plans using AutoCAD software.
  • Perform detailed mapping surveys using state-of-the-art electromagnetic and sonde location techniques.

How You'll Contribute

The ideal applicant must be a good team worker, hardworking, polite, presentable, and enthusiastic. They should have at least 5 years of previous drainage experience and be willing to work away on occasion, undertake overtime, night shifts, and weekends when necessary.

Knowledge and Skills

  • An OS20X or OS19X certification is required for the CCTV Drainage Engineer position (preferably with 5 or more years of experience).
  • Experience in using CAD (Computer-aided design) is essential.
  • Proven experience in CCTV drainage inspection techniques and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of drainage and sewer system design, construction, and maintenance practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical data accurately.
  • Effective communication abilities to convey findings, recommendations, and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations and guidelines.
  • CSCS Card.
  • High-pressure water jetting certificate.
  • Confined spaces or NRSWA qualification preferable but not essential.
  • A full driving license is essential, preferably clean.
