Location: London

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 basic with uncapped commission

Job Type: Full time/ Permanent

Our client is a leading provider of sustainable and ethically produced CBD products to UK retailers. Their product range encompasses a broad spectrum of offerings, spanning diverse categories such as cosmetics and beauty products, raw cooking ingredients, and ready-to-consume edibles like gummies and chocolates.

CBD Business Development Manager – The Role:

Our client is looking for a new Business Development Manager to join their growing team. In the role, you will be responsible for generating new business for our clients and helping them to get their diverse product range into UK health retailers. Our client is looking for someone who is self -starter with a passion for CBD products and the benefits these products can offer. You will be responsible for the identification of new business prospects and the nurturing of long-lasting relationships.

CBD Business Development Manager – Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales and expand the company's market presence in the CBD industry

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, distributors, and retail channels

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors, to drive product placement and sales growth

- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to inform product development and sales strategies.

- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value proposition of our CBD products

- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and drive revenue growth

- Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry developments related to CBD products, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and foster new business relationships

CBD Business Development Manager – You:

- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the CBD or wellbeing industry

- In-depth understanding of the CBD market landscape, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and competitive dynamics

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of CBD products and influence decision-makers

- Strong network of contacts and relationships within the CBD industry, including retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and other key stakeholders

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously

- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives

- Must have the right to work in the UK
