Catering Assessor

We are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Catering Assessor to join our high-achieving college team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing students pursuing vocational qualifications in catering, ensuring they meet the necessary occupational standards.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assessing students working towards vocational qualifications in catering within a college, training centre, or workplace setting.
- Ensuring that trainees meet the occupational standards required to achieve their qualifications.
- Providing constructive feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and assessment results.
- Collaborating with other members of the teaching team to deliver a high-quality learning experience.
- Relevant occupational experience in Catering.
- A relevant UK teaching qualification.
- Experience in assessing and teaching within the relevant field.
- Literacy and Numeracy skills at least to Level 2.
- An assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, D32) is essential.
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in catering/chef/cookery, along with industry experience.
- DBS on the update service.
- Preferred experience in Patisserie.
- Competitive salary package up to £40,000 per annum.
