  • Looking for a Category Strategy Manager - 12m FTCwho can lead the development of Customer Category Plans by tailoring Global selling stories into exciting and insightful customer presentations for UK retailers

Role:

  • As Category Strategy Manager - 12m FTC you will drive strategic thought leadership within the business and with retail partners within the local market.
  • Enable the business to make informed decisions by providing a clear vision for the category, including growth drivers and shopper insights, to unlock and accelerate growth.
  • Lead the evolution of category strategy and principles across internal functions, ensuring alignment with prioritized growth drivers and building initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Elevate customer engagement through category-led growth initiatives at critical moments, supporting range reviews to unlock growth opportunities, and coordinating category growth communication with key customers.
  • Lead and develop direct reports to maximize their potential, integrating relevant shopper insights into customer communications, and providing thought leadership on the category to internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidate:

  • For this Category Strategy Manager - 12m FTC role you will need a proven track record in Category Management within FMCG or blue-chip organizations, with a focus on creating and leading strategic agendas.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders, with a strong focus on customer impact and driving change in a matrix organization internationally.
  • Compelling Storytelling Skills…can offer excellent storytelling abilities, crafting narratives with clear calls to action to drive strategic initiatives forward.
  • Possess a solid strategic understanding and an action-focused mindset, driving growth initiatives with an enterprise mindset and delivering results through effective leadership.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across markets and functional boundaries, leading and developing high-performing teams to achieve organizational goals.
