Job Title: Category Manager

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £50,000.00 per annum + Benefits

Exciting Opportunity in Procurement within the Public Sector in the North West!

Are you a Public Sector Procurement professional, looking for your next career move? I am working with a business within the public sector who seek an experienced Category Manager to run a Category and manage a team of Procurement Officers and Buyers.

As Category Manager, you will be responsible for multiple million-pound expenditure across multiple projects. You will have a clear career path and clarity of how to achieve the next step in hierarchy.

I am looking for a dynamic professional to join our procurement team, supporting the delivery of contracts across the region. You will be joining an award winning procurement service with a reputation for delivering excellence within the field. We give a commitment to invest in our people with training, support with ongoing professional development and continuing to deliver on a first class track record of promoting our own people through their desired career pathway.

Key Attributes:

  • Public sector 3 year minimum
  • Experience in running a category
  • People Management
  • CIPS Level 4+
  • Experience running high value Public Sector Projects
