What you'll do:

As a Category Manager for Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO), you will play a pivotal role in our central Procurement Team. You will work closely with site leaders and other key central functions to develop and deliver category plans that drive value across spend categories. Your focus will be on reducing supplier risk while ensuring quality, service, and cost objectives are met. You will also support our Centre Head Office and UK Site Operations teams with Category, Supplier, and Contract Management. This is an exciting time to join us as we navigate through periods of transformation and growth.

Work alongside other Buyers/Category Managers under the guidance of the Procurement Manager
Develop and deliver category plans for relevant indirect services, including Engineering and MRO.
Drive value in materials and services pricing while supporting quality, service and cost objectives.
Reduce supplier risk through effective management strategies.
Support Centre Head Office and UK Site Operations teams with Category, Supplier and Contract Management.
Lead by example during times of transformation and growth.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Category Manager MRO role brings a broad range of procurement experience as a Buyer or Category Manager. You have proven expertise in developing and implementing category strategies in changing environments. Your project management experience equips you to handle new categories and challenges effectively. You have a track record of nurturing stakeholder relationships and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Your experience in Supplier Relationship and Contract Management coupled with strong analytical skills makes you an asset to our team.

Broad range of procurement experience as a Buyer / Category Manager
Proven ability in developing and implementing category strategies
Adaptable style in changing environments, new categories, and challenges
Experience in Project Management
Track record of developing stakeholder relationships, and cross-functional working
Experience of Supplier Relationship and Contract Management
Strong Analytical skills
