The role:

• As Category Executive Food you will develop, implement, and review opportunities for own brand ranges. You will take into account proposition, range, price, positioning and quality for a specific product range and will develop innovative strategies which exceed customer expectations.
• In the role the Category Executive Food will use customer and market data to help highlight and drive new product and/or sales that will exceed customers’ expectations
• As the Category Executive Food you will also own the packaging design for your categories ensuring this meets brand and technical guidelines
• The Category Executive Food will work cross functionally with multiple departments such as buying, technical to bring these new products to market

Ideal candidate:

• This Category Executive Food role is ideal for individual with either buying or category management experience gained from UK food retail or wholesale
• It is essential to be able to demonstrate hands-on category experience and will have managed projects from beginning to end.
• For the Category Executive Food role you must have a can do attitude with a passion for learning, it is essential to have passion for food
• In addition, you will demonstrate a passion for the customer and demonstrate fantastic communication skills
