On the back of some great success and huge growth, they are looking to recruit a Casualty Claims Handler to expand their team at their head office in Spinningfields in Manchester City Centre.

As Casualty Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling clients’ Casualty Claims from cradle to grave as part of a growing operation.

Internal and External relationships are key to the success of the business; therefore, it is extremely important that you are a good team player as well as being very client focused, organised and ensure a first in class service is provided at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Handling Casualty Claims on behalf of clients, from initial call through to settlement.
• Managing your own varied caseload of claims, through telephone and written communication.
• Ensuring a consistent, first in class service is provided to all parties.
• Questioning, interview and probing where necessary to get the right result.
• Acting as the point of contact for both policyholders and brokers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in handling Casualty EL/PL Claims is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
• Good time management skills are essential as well as being a well organised individual.
• Being confident in your own ability and good decision making is immensely important along with having a highly professional demeanour.
• A good team worker, able to work collaboratively with others both internally and externally.
