Join our client, a leading Employee Benefits & Actuarial Consultancy, as a Cash Management Assistant and play a crucial role in providing exceptional cash management services to their clients.
As a Cash Management Assistant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our client's organisation by ensuring efficient cash management operations. You will work within a supportive and professional team environment, where your input and ideas will be valued.
As a Cash Management Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining cash book records for each client on the accounting system used.
- Conducting weekly bank account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Recording and reconciling bank transactions in a timely and precise manner.
- Processing payments and receipts with careful attention to detail.
- Performing daily checks of bank accounts to identify any irregularities or unusual transactions.
- Resolving reconciliation issues and other queries promptly and professionally.
- Monitoring cashflows and preparing monthly cashflow analysis for review.
- Assisting in the preparation of cashflow forecasts for clients.
- Ensuring contributions are received in line with the latest Statements of Compliance.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders including investment managers, trustees, and banks.
- Proposing system changes to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Key skills required for this role:
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- The capability to work well under pressure.
- Proactive approach in identifying and implementing solutions.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance department environment.
- Willingness to study for AAT/ACCA qualifications.
- Excellent Excel skills
