I am currently recruiting for an experienced cash management / treasury analyst to join a Global FMCG company on a 3 month temp basis. This is a great role within a fast paced, multi-cultural and diverse organisation You will need to have experience with SAP and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities will include:

Record treasury movements within the SAP general ledger system
Process journal entries within the SAP general ledger system
Completion of daily cash management tasks, ensuring cash processing, funding, overdrafts and claim
Completion of payment instructions, posting of ledger entries in relevant global platforms, investigating and managing cash shortfalls by monitoring cash flows across global fund ranges
Proactive ownership and investigation of queries/issues that may arise, escalating and reporting any inconsistences to supervisor or manager in a timely manner.
Reviewing processes and outstanding issues to ensure a high level of service is maintained globally
Ensure end to end understanding of all operational tasks and how they relate and impact all processes. Ensure standard ways of working are applied consistently
Maintain compliance with the set of SOX controls applied to departmental operations
Support in any Internal and external audit requests
Perform month end activities including journal posting, reconciliations and reviews
Any other ad hoc duties as directed by your Supervisor or Line Manager

Person Specification:

Experience in an accounting function with knowledge of cash and general ledger maintenance activities
Experience of posting payments on ledger
AAT / Part Qualified
Computer skills including the ability to operate computerised accounting, spreadsheet (Excel), and email (Outlook) at a proficient level
An understanding of cash management and cash processing activities
Good written and verbal communication skills
