Right Now Group are recruiting for a large cargo ground handler at Heathrow!

We are looking for cargo agents to join our client due to massive growth and exciting new contracts secured. The role is working within a fast paced office environment alongside the clients airline partners, ensuring their cargo is delivered safely and securely around the world!

Location: Feltham / Heathrow
Hours: You will be required to work a shift pattern consisting of 4 on 4 off. This will be a mixture of days and nights in the following format: x2 days 07:00 - 19:00 / x2 nights 19:00 - 07:00
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 This will be dependent on experience.
Bonus: Attendance Bonus paid end of the year

Responsibilities of a Cargo Agent:

You will be required to create and update records of all consignments in the airline computer systems.
Separate and distribute cargo documents according to airline requirements.
You will be also expected to serve customers collecting cargo including taking payments of charges.
Operate a telephone system in a polite and efficient manner.
You will liaise with warehouse staff and drivers as appropriate and be responsible for checking dangerous goods to IATA and AVI checks.

Skills required to be a Cargo Agent:

Great Communication skills via email, telephone and in person.
Basic computer skills are essential as you will be operating and using a variety of systems.
Previous office experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Fluent in speaking and writing in English is essential.
We will need to be able to complete Pre-employment checks. This will include a 5 year checkable employment / education history, DBS check (criminal record check).
