We are seeking to recruit an outstanding Careers Advisor with a Level 6 qualification in Career Guidance and Development to join our client, a thriving academy in Southwark with the aim to prepare young people to enter the workplace. The successful candidate will contribute to developing and delivering professional careers advice and coordinate the delivery of learning in the academy. This is a key position in a supportive and forward-thinking academy offering the opportunity to contribute to the pastoral system and make a substantial difference to the lives of young people in London.

Experience:

  • Level 6 Qualification in Career Guidance and Development.
  • Experience of working with young people aged 11-18 years.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to adapt your style according to the situation.
  • Good IT skills and experience working with databases.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the secondary education system.
