Job Scope:

We are looking to recruit a Care Team Leader who will join our team. The Care Team Leader will play a crucial role in supporting residentaily activities, ensuring optimum wellbeing, independence, and a positive experience. Striving to provide a positive customer experience, the Care Team Leader will manage and lead the shift, overseeing a committed team of care staff to deliver highquality, personcentered care.

Responsibilities include leading and motivating the care team, managing daily records, contributing to care plans, and maintaining effective communication within the home. The Care Team Leader will understand and support residents' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, actively contributing to staff learning and development. Inducting new staff, ensuring reflective practice, and promoting health and safety are integral aspects of the role.

The Care Team Leader will respond to emergencies, delegate duties to the care team, and remain attentive to residents' needs throughout the shift. The Care Team Leader will be empathetic, patient, positive, and adaptable to change. Having defined areas of responsibility, the Care Team Leader may provide guidance to less experienced staff, produce non-standard letters or reports, and use discretion in resolving complex problems.

Do you have?

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • Desirable to possess an Assessor, Mentor Qualification
  • Demonstrate essential experience in a similar care environment, with supervisory roles specifically with older individuals with dementia and physical disabilities
  • Showcase experience in managing Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Exhibit digital skills, including the use of care planning, medication, NHS, HR, and e-learning systems
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to manage conflict and challenging situations to positive outcomes, while also effectively supervising and managing the performance of care staff
