Hays Social Care would like to make you aware of a permanent vacancy which we have available at the moment.We are looking for adult support workers who are willing to work alongside and support service users with learning disabilities.

The service is based in Sale and is extremely friendly. You will be working both independently and as part of a team.

You will be expected to engage in daily activities with the service users such as:

  • Completing health care tasks to a high standard
  • Acting as the shift lead
  • Providing personal care, as well as supporting individuals with all identified self-help skills.
  • Following support plans
  • Carrying out all health care procedures in line with support plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Being able to work without direct supervision and, in some cases, lone work
  • Comply with the standards of conduct established by regulatory bodies such as CQC and ensure you adhere to them at all times.

The shifts range from the earliest, 7:30am-3pm, to the latest, 3pm-10pm, or you have the option to also do long days, 7:30am-10pm.
