Our client is currently looking to grow their dedicated team of Carers in their Beccles service.

About the role

Our client’s Care Assistants are enthusiastic about providing a high-quality and bespoke service to each of their clients, always putting those in their care at the heart of what they do. To ensure they can achieve this, their shift patterns include evenings, weekends, and some unsociable hours.

To succeed in this position, you will need great communication and interpersonal skills so that you can form solid relationships with your clients and effectively handover information to colleagues.

Working as a Care Assistant means no two days are the same as you will be supporting their residents with their day to day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may get involved in exciting activities outside of the home too.

Their ideal support worker will be:

  • Reliable, friendly, and caring to help service users.
  • Able to support in-house activities and hobbies.
  • Attentive and inspire residents to achieve more.

Whilst drivers are able to take residents out and about, you do not need to be a driver to work here – they have many non-drivers too!

This role encompasses a range of tasks dependent on the client’s needs including:

  • Monitoring, recording, and administering medication.
  • Light household chores.
  • Assistance with mobility and personal care.
  • Assistance with shopping.
  • Food preparation.
  • Providing companionship.
