Care Assistant - Guildford (Sponsorship not available)

My client is a small to medium sized business who support young adults with neurological disorders and learning disabilities in the local community. Their goal is to support young adults in the local community to have a happy and valuable life experience... and for their team to have passion for the work they do.

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join the team based in Guildford, working with a bright and charismatic young man with autism and epilepsy.

In this position, you'll provide assistance to a young man 9 am to 5 pm as he pursues his studies in Life Skills at Alton College. Additionally, you'll support him while he works part time at Chessington World of Adventures, ensuring he arrives for work on time, provide him with any necessary support related to his work duties at the theme park and once finished engage with him, once home, in playing board games which is one of his passions. Part of this role will be to support him to manage his epilepsy (full training will be provided)

We are seeking an individual with:

  • A fun and happy outlook on life.
  • Previous experience in senior care or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to provide care with compassion and empathy.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (ULEZ Compliant car)
  • Sponsorship is unfortunately not available.

Pay rate £12.75 - £15 per hour
