What does this Care Assistant job involve?

Hours of Work: 7am to 2pm, 4pm to 10pm and 2pm to 10pm

• Providing support to older people as outlined in their care plans to include personal care and adhering to risk assessments.
• Carrying out moving and assisting techniques specific to the clients' needs
• Supporting people to express their choices, promoting their individuality and independence about their care decisions
• Providing emotional support

• Caring, responsible, empathetic, understanding, proactive and great sense of humour.
• A passion for delivering high-quality care to vulnerable adults with a variety of needs. Able to work flexibly, independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of the people we support
• Comfortable in assisting individuals with their personal care where this is required
• Experience in care would be an advantage but not essential as training provided, but training will be given so we actively encourage applications from candidates with no previous experience
