Role Summary:
As the Regional Carbon Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, and executing the company's carbon strategy, policies, and approach. Collaborating closely with the Energy Leadership Team, you will identify strategic choices that impact carbon and drive initiatives aligned with our wider growth aspirations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the global shift toward sustainability.Key Responsibilities:

1. Carbon Strategy Development:
   • Work closely with the Energy Leadership team to develop a robust carbon abatement strategy.
   • Cascade this strategy to the Extended Leadership team, enhancing their knowledge and capability in carbon management.
   • Innovate in the commercialisation of carbon abatement solutions.
   • Identify carbon choices that align with our growth objectives.
   • Collaborate with market teams and Finance on carbon reporting, pricing, offsetting, and trading.
2. Community Building:
   • Establish a network of carbon practitioners across the organisation.
   • Share expertise, best practices, and guidance within this community.
   • Outline a shared vision for achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
   • Engage and advocate key carbon messages to stakeholders.
3. Driving Initiatives:
   • Play a pivotal role in designing programs that support our carbon abatement plan.
   • Explore internal pricing mechanisms for carbon projects.
   • Cultivate new partnerships for carbon-negative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business).
• Proven experience in carbon strategy development and implementation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Passion for sustainability and contributing to a greener future.
