Capital Actuary sought after by a renowned London Market insurer. Our client are looking for a nearly/newly qualified Actuary experienced in Non-Life Capital, to join their Capital Modelling and Risk Analytics team as a Capital Actuary.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nearly/newly qualified Actuary looking to gain a deep understanding of how the Capital and Risk function operates at a London Market firm.

Responsibilities of the Capital Actuary:

  • Supporting the development and improved of the Internal Capital Model.
  • Communicate model output and changes to key stakeholders and to governance committees as required.
  • Working across all risk areas: Insurance Risk, including Cat and Non-Cat risk, Market Risk, Credit Risk and Operational Risks.

Key Experience of the Capital Actuary:

  • 3+ years of Non-Life Capital experience.
  • Experience using programming languages such as Tyche, VBA and/or R.
  • Effective verbal and written communication scheme.
