We are looking for a Candidate Engagement Resourcer to join our Team, who is able to build a rapport and engage with learners and provide an exceptional customer experience. Summary of Role

Responsible for providing effective Information, Advice and Guidance to potential Babington learners across a range of Modern Apprenticeship programmes and sectors, supporting them to make informed choices. You will be working closely with the Sales Team to support, and achieve as many apprenticeship placement opportunities as possible. You will play a key role in meeting our growth plans.

Brief summary of principle accountabilities
  • A pivotal part of the role will be ensuring you are building relationships across your region across Job Centres, schools, colleges etc to build brand awareness and provide effective IAG on the Apprenticeships
  • Host Open days, workshops etc within the centre to support the pipeline of candidates and placement opportunities.
  • Operate an initial assessment, selection and matching process for all opportunities within the region, providing enough suitable candidates to meet internal targets and timelines.
  • Effectively manage a caseload of candidates and live learners to maximise opportunities for progression.
  • Maintain good knowledge and understanding of all relevant programmes, departments and opportunities.
  • Provide effective information, advice and guidance to potential learners.
  • Responsible for signing up all apprentices onto their apprenticeships and submit timely and accurate paperwork.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all Key Performance Indicators are consistently achieved.
  • Ensure regular communication with the management in respect of any concerns about a client, learner or opportunity.
  • Ensure that all company’s databases are updated immediately with all relevant client and/or candidate information.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders such as the National Apprenticeship Service, jobcentre plus and schools within your allocated region.
  • Attend networking events across, referral partnership organisation, Schools and Stakeholder events to promote apprenticeship opportunities, build networking partners including Developing the Young Workforce (DYW).
  • Undertake regular research to ensure that you remain up to date with changes and developments within the sector, subscribing to relevant e-newsletters from Skills Development Scotland, Apprenticeship.scot, SQA,ESFA, RAA, OFSTED etc
  • As part of the role, you will support our employer base with local marketing when required to understand recruitment and in situation (employed) apprentice opportunities. This will lead to developing your skills around business Development.

Qualifications

  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent (E) National 5 upward (Scotland)
  • Level 3 Certificate in Information, Advice and Guidance or equivalent (D)

Skills and experience

  • Extensive knowledge of providing excellent I.A.G across employers, candidates and partners (E)
  • Working experience in recruitment, marketing, resourcing, or sales (E)
  • Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision (E)
  • Experience of Government funded training (D)
  • Proven experience of liaising with employers and external agencies (E)
  • Proven experience of building a portfolio of candidates and tracking candidate status (E)
  • Experience of delivering high level of service and satisfaction (E)
  • Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision (E)
  • Ability to deliver to agreed targets (E)
