Cambridge - Senior FPGA Engineer- Competitive

My Client specializes in the design and manufacture of high tech camera systems for various applications including industrial, military and commercial uses. They are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior FPGA Engineer to join their growing team and work in their busy R&D hardware department:

Main Duties:

+ Your involvement will span all stages of the design process, from conceptualisation to delivering a functional system

+ Verilog code development

+ Collaboration with software engineers for driver and application software development

+ Engage with hardware engineers to assess devices, establish constraints and provide testing support

+ Work on smaller FPGA and CPLD Designs

Skills and Experience Required:

+ Degree in Electronics or Physics

+ 5+ years significant experience in FPGA Design

+ Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams

+ Understanding of interaction between FPGA, Software and Hardware design principles

Desired but not essential experience:

+ Knowledge of high level synthesis
