Are you looking for a varied role within an industry-leading landscaping contractor? Do you have CAD experience from a landscape or groundworks background? Are you happy to travel ocassionally to sites across the South East & Midlands?

This nationwide contractor are an industry leading specialist in sports pitch construction, primarily focussing on the installation of all types of sports and athletic facilities throughout the UK. The business has seen an increase in projects for pro sport clients including Football, Cricket, and Ruby pitches & facilities. As a result of this growth, an opportunity has been created for a CAD technician from a transferrable background to join the team to assist in this next phase of growth.

Within this role, you will be reporting to the Contracts Director. You will assist with initial site visits alongside the project management team throughout the construction process, to produce construction plans using AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role working on either sports pitch construction, landscaping, or groundworks projects. You will be confident in producing construction plan drawings in line with the project specification, whilst maintaining the highest quality standards.

The Role:

• Reporting to the Contracts Director
• Assist with initial site visits alongside the project management team throughout the construction process, to produce construction plans using AutoCAD
• Produce as laid drawings for client projects
• Effectively work to deadlines
• Office based role in Newbury

The Person:

• Experience in a similar role working on either sports pitch construction, landscaping, or groundworks projects
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, producing as laid construction drawings
• Looking to work for an exciting company with lots of room to progress
• Full UK driving licence
