Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a Doncaster based, Materials handling & Preocessing Equipment manufacturer to help them recruit a CAD Technician.

My client are award winning specialists in the design and manufacture of material handling and processing machinery such as filling machines, waste-extraction, conveyors, packing equipment and more. They employ over 120 people in the UK and have multiple agents around the world promoting the brand to worldqide customers. The business have achieved many awards for machine design over the years, including twice being awarded the highest accolade in the UK, The Queen’s Award for Enterprise, both times in the Innovation category. As the only company in the field to hold this prestigious award, they have proved to be at the forefront of of technology development within the industry.


The CAD Technician will report to the Design Office Manager and be responsible for:

  • Producing 2D and 3D drawings
  • Managing drawing standards
  • Developing and maintaining BOMs
  • Assisting in development of new machinery
  • Overseeing standard part design and documentation

We are keen to speak with CAD Technicians with the following skills/experience:

  • Previous CAD Technician experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing enivironment
  • Skilled use of CAD software (Inventor ideal)
  • Background in material handling or industrial machinery design would be advantageous
  • A high degree of initiative and strong problem-solving capability
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • IT literate - Microsoft Office etc.
