Position Overview:

We are currently recruiting a skilled Junior CAD Technician on behalf of our client in the Stockport area. As a Junior CAD Technician you will interpret technical drawings, create parts using 3D CAD software, program daily workloads, rectify errors, and provide customer assistance as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding technical drawings from sales and offer accurate time on jobs within a specific timeframe.
• Drawing parts with 3D CAD, working with Artube and Solidwork systems.
• Programming the daily workload.
• Identifying and rectifying programming errors.
• Being a first point of call to offer assistance to customers on their jobs where required.

Requirements:

• Understanding technical drawings
• Proficient in 3D CAD (Solidworks, Artube)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting project deadlines.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the engineering or construction industry is preferred.

Benefits:

• 08:45 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday / 08:45 – 16:30 Friday
• £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
